MIDDLEBURG - Joel R. Snider, the homicide suspect in the July 2010 murder of a New Berlin yoga master, may now face the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder.
Snider, a former yoga student, is accused of shooting the 70-year-old yoga master, Sudharman, also known as Joel Fenton, while he slept at his home and yoga studio in New Berlin.
The Pennsylvania Superior Court reversed Union-Snyder President Judge Michael H. Sholley's ruling dismissing a burglary charge against Snider, the Daily Item reported Thursday. That charge is the aggravating circumstance that allows for capital punishment as a potential penalty.
